Across the GCC and Southeast Asia, the co-founder saw the same pattern over and over. Brands investing heavily in CRM platforms and loyalty programmes, only to find themselves with tools that were barely used, data that nobody trusted, and campaigns that ran on inertia rather than strategy.
The problem was never the technology. It was the gap between what the platform could do and what the team knew how to make it do. Between what the strategy deck promised and what the operating model could actually deliver.
Most consulting firms diagnose the problem and hand over a plan. Most platform vendors implement the tool and hand over a licence. Nobody stayed to make it work.
So the co-founder built the seat. Monndé exists to be that seat.
Monndé was founded to sit between strategy and execution, between vendor and client, between what a brand needs and what it currently has the capability to do. A firm built by operators, not advisors.
What the customer engine is meant to do and where it actually breaks, done in the open with the client’s team in the room. Not a discovery phase that produces a slide. A working session that produces a shared view.
What stays, what changes, and in what order, costed honestly with the decision left in the client’s hands. Monndé recommends the right thing, not the convenient one.
Alongside the in-house team until the capability lives inside the business, not inside an invoice. The engagement ends when the client can run it without us. That is the design intention from day one.
We have worked across every major CRM, CDP, and loyalty platform in the market. We know their actual strengths, their edge cases, and the gap between what the sales deck says and what the onboarding experience delivers.
We will recommend the right tool for your business, not the one we have a commercial relationship with. And when you already have a platform, we will work within it before recommending a change.
No hidden vendor relationships. No preferred platform lists. No kickbacks built into our recommendations. Our advice is clean because our income does not depend on which tool you buy.
The foundation. Clean data, unified profiles, and a governance model that makes customer intelligence usable across the business.
The engine. Platform selection, lifecycle architecture, journey design, and the operating model that keeps campaigns running at quality.
The muscle. Ongoing managed services, campaign execution, loyalty programme design, and the team capability that makes the whole system sustainable.
We serve retail and eCommerce brands across the GCC — UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman — and work internationally where the mandate fits our model.
We work with a deliberately small number of clients. Not because we can’t scale, but because the people who agree to work with you are the ones who should actually do the work.
That means the people you meet in the scoping call are the people doing the work. The thinking doesn’t get delegated.
Monndé was built by two people who have spent their careers at the intersection of customer strategy, technology, and operations. Between them, they bring over 25 years of CRM, loyalty, martech, and business leadership experience across retail, eCommerce, healthcare, and professional services in the GCC, Southeast Asia, and the UK.
Devam has spent his career building and scaling CRM, loyalty, and martech functions for retail and eCommerce businesses across Southeast Asia and the GCC. Before founding Monndé, he served as VP Head of CRM and Loyalty at one of the leading retail groups in Southeast Asia, where he led the redesign of the group’s CRM architecture, data strategy, and loyalty programme across multiple markets and brands.
He is the primary architect of the Monndé engagement model and the author of The Monndé Code.
Monika brings a background in business development, client management, and operations across professional services and healthcare. She has led commercial and operational functions in fast-moving environments, with a focus on building client relationships and delivery structures that scale.
At Monndé, she leads client relationships, operations, and the business development approach that underpins the firm’s growth in the GCC and internationally.
We work with a small number of clients at a time. If you are thinking about CRM, loyalty, or customer data — and want to talk to someone who has done this before — get in touch.
